An old institution, Albert Bakery in Mosque Road, Frazer Town, has no branches by design. The owners are keen to run it simply, without much fanfare. It has a range of tea-time snacks, many of which are unique to Albert Bakery such as the mutton or mixed-veg mini samosas, crumb-fried chicken etc.. During Ramzan, they make their un-missable Bhej Fry Puffs and Khova Nans that have people queuing up from 3 PM when they open. The bakery also serves a can't-stop-at-one-bite mixture and a variety of veg and non-veg puffs, and puddings on certain days.
- Opens only around 3 PM and closes at 9 PM.
- Get there in time to sample the non-veg samosas and patties – their fare gets over quickly.
- They also have regular and burger buns and other bakery items.
