Refreshments is the most famous outlet of its kind in the area, serving authentic South Indian food (Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks), predominantly from the state of Karnataka. The Dosas here are hard to resist, just like the Idlis, or Filter Coffee. For a typical south Indian or anybody who loves south Indian food, this is the place to be in.
This is the place for people who like snacks authentic to Punjab. With their samosas being the most famous sell out, the Punjabi Snacks corner also make different varieties of Pakodas, in addition to Vada Pav. Located on the 7th Phase, JP Nagar (opposite to Brigade Millenium Apartments), this seven year old outlet is only growing in popularity with passing time for the quality of Samosas and other snacks.
Located in JP Nagar 2nd Phase as a little cart serving fresh, hot Bondas and Bajjis every evening, Basavaraj’s Bajji Bandi is famous among residents for all kinds of Bajjis that he prepares. His customers include the ones who have been visiting the place for about ten years now. One can always find groups of people standing here, waiting for their Bajjis as some eat theirs from the time he brings his cart (at about 4 PM every day).
A little wagon that serves Pizzas and Garlic Bread on the 7th Phase, JP Nagar, this outlet was started by Mr Kumar – a former chef at Little Italy – with the aim of making exotic Pizzas available for everybody alike. Most famous among the customers for its Garlic Bread with American Tomatoes and the Nepolitana Pizza; this place is a must visit for a Pizza lover with an added love of street side eateries.
Known for the authentic Tamil Nadu styled food that it serves; this is one of the very few outlets of its kind in the locality. It is located on the 5th Phase, JP Nagar, and is most famous for its Dosas, Idlis, Idiyappam, and South Indian Meals. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner – and if one has a good appetite and likes Tamilian food (especially the Sambar), this is the place to be in!
Started in the year 2010 by three youngsters who migrated to Bangalore from Uttar Pradesh, this outlet has everything for a pure Chaat lover. They are most well known for their Alu Tikki and Vada Pav besides all other items on their menu. The outlet includes a little Gol Gappa stand next to the chaat stand, and it is almost always full with people waiting for their plate of Gol Gappa.
